Strategic Business Development shares in Agile Synergy Group's mission to take a stand for all investors. You can help us change the way the world invests, by identifying potential strategic opportunities that will increase value for our clients. You will be a part of the team tasked with guiding the organization through complex issues related to M&A and strategic partnerships and will play a role in the entire deal process from sourcing to integration, including negotiating high-profile and sophisticated deals that support Agile Synergy Group across multiple business areas.

Create value through inorganic growth and new partnerships

This role will support key activities related to possible mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships and will report directly to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Partnerships. You will create sophisticated valuation models and conduct valuation analyses based on deep knowledge and past deal and M&A experience. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, who can effectively communicate in-depth market research and detailed valuation models to senior stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

• Drives inorganic growth activities, including but not limited to sourcing, negotiating, structuring, executing, and integrating businesses.
• Builds valuation models and conducts valuation analyses for presentation to senior leadership and key decision makers across business areas.
• Works independently, with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines. Able to lead individual workstreams of a deal and contribute to larger deal team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Prepares and clearly communicates analyses and findings to senior leaders. Delivers both quantitative and qualitative analyses, including financial models and scenario analysis, to estimate potential value, recommend inorganic growth opportunities and gain consensus on strategy and investment theses.
• Coaches less experienced crew in financial methodologies, M&A frameworks and approaches, and inorganic growth best practices based on deep knowledge of emerging trends and industry standards in growth and divestiture activities.
• Strong conceptual thinking, time management, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years' experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similar required. Prior M&A experience preferred
• Undergraduate degree required in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar required. Graduate degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.43 - $49.89 per hour
